BRAZIL’s TAX REFORM APPROVED IN LOWER HOUSE OF CONGRESS

Brazil's lower house of Congress approved a tax reform’s bill.

Some of the expected changes may include a progressive gift and estate taxes (inheritance and donations).  Further, the bill aims to restructure the country's complex consumption taxes.

The bill needs the Senate approval.
